Maximally transitive semigroups of n×n matrices

We prove that, for every n≥1, there exists a pair of n×n matrices that generates a topologically n-transitive semigroup action on Kn, where K=R or C. Equivalently, we construct dense 2-generator subsemigroups of GL(n,K) for all n≥1.
