Dimensions of slices through a class of generalized Sierpinski sponges

In this paper, we discuss the intersections of a class of generalized Sierpinski sponges in RnRn with an (n−1)(n−1)-dimensional hyperplane of integer orthogonal direction. We prove that under a suitable congruence condition, the dimension equals the dimension of the generalized Sierpinski sponge minus 1.
