Estimates of the principal eigenvalue of the pp-Laplacian

We provide estimates from below and from above for the principal eigenvalue of the pp-Laplacian on a bounded domain. We apply these estimates to study the asymptotic behavior of the principal eigenvalue for p→+∞p→+∞.
