Uniqueness in the Cauchy problem for the Koiter shell

We present the uniqueness in the Cauchy problem for the Koiter shell where the model is described by the Riemannian geometry. The Carleman estimates are established by the Bochner technique which yields the uniqueness for the Koiter shell.
