Yosida–Hewitt type decompositions for weakly compact operators and operator-valued measures

We derive Yosida–Hewitt type decompositions for weakly compact operators from Köthe–Bochner function spaces to Banach spaces. As an application, we obtain a Yosida–Hewitt type decomposition for strongly bounded operator-valued measures.
