On minimal dynamical systems and their crossed product C∗-algebras

For X an infinite 0-dimensional compact metric space and (X,ϕ) a minimal dynamical system, we give a proof that the crossed product C∗-algebra C(X)×ϕZ is not AF. This proof does not appeal to K-theory.
