Middle-Late Pleistocene marine terraces and fault activity in the Sant'Agata di Militello coastal area (north-eastern Sicily)

► This study is the result of interdisciplinary work. ► Samples of marine terrace deposits are dated by Optically Stimulated Luminescence methodology. ► Morphotectonic analysis allows to recognize five main orders of Quaternary surfaces. ► OSL dating allows to correlate the marine terraces with five of the last highstands. ► We constrain marine terracing and normal faulting in a precise time span.
