A landau-lifshitz-type equation in studying thin film micromagnetics

The paper is concerned with a Landau-Lifshitz-type equation which was first raised by DeSimone and Otto, etc., when studying thin film micromagnetics. We get the existence of a continuous solution using penalty approximation, compensated compactness and commutator estimate.
