Condensation heat transfer of ethanol-water vapor in a plate heat exchanger

To obtain local condensation heat transfer coefficients in a plate heat exchanger, 12 thermocouples were arranged at the surface of plate and in the cooling water channel, respectively. During ethanol-water vapor condensation, ethanol concentration, pressure and plate number were varied. The local and mean HTC changing with outlet vapor quality were presented. Meanwhile, drpowise condensation was observed for mixed vapor condensation.183
