Therapeutic effects of nano particles (AgNps) in rhesus rotavirus (RRV) induced mouse biliary atresia model. After the AgNps treatment, the mouse with biliary atresia showed the reduction of jaundice and weight lost together with the appearance of the CK19+ bile duct. The liver NK cell number and virus loading were decreased and TGF-β mRNA expression was increased. All these suggested that the AgNps ameliorated the BA syndrome partially through the inhibition of NK cells and augmentation of TGF-β.205
