Enhanced simultaneous overlap extension-PCR by gold nanoparticles

Gold nanoparticle-mediated simultaneous overlap extension-PCR (AuNP-mediated SOE-PCR) allows fusion of multiple DNA fragments with the fusion products simultaneously amplified in a single reaction using typical PCR conditions. It represents a more rapid and flexible method for DNA fusion and site-directed DNA mutation than regular restriction enzyme cloning and other OE-PCR protocols.
