Are the determinants of CO2 emissions converging among OECD countries?

► We study convergence in CO2emission intensity and its determinants. ► The Phillips and Sul (2007) approach is used to test for convergence clubs. ► We find greater convergence within clubs in the energy intensity ratio. ► More regulation is required to foster convergence in the carbonisation index.
