Causality between economic growth and immigration: An ARDL bounds testing approach

This paper aims to investigate the causal relationship between immigration and per capita economic growth. Using the ARDL approach to cointegration, we find evidence of long-run causality from per capita economic growth to immigration, but not vice versa.
