Robustness of intermediate agreements and bargaining solutions

► We revisit Nashʼs n-person bargaining problem. ► A family of axioms are proposed to portray the bargaining process. ► We provide novel axiomatizations of the Nash, Proportional and Discrete Raiffa solutions based on the “robustness of intermediate agreements” criteria. ► In other words, we provide a unified framework for comparing these solutionsʼ bargaining theories.
