Reducing the cost of semi-automated in-gel tryptic digestion and GeLC sample preparation for high-throughput proteomics

• A reduced-cost semi-automated in-gel digest method was developed for in-gel digestion and GeLC.
• The same pipette tip was used to dispense reagents to many wells.
• High reproducibility and low carry-over between wells were demonstrated.
