Speciation of the trivalent f-elements Eu(III) and Cm(III) in digestive media

Trivalent f-elements represent a serious health risk after incorporation due to their chemo- and radiotoxicity. In this study their chemical speciation in the gastrointestinal tract was determined experimentally by time-resolved laser-induced fluorescence spectroscopy.257
