Ferrocenyloxysilanes: Synthesis, characterization and electrochemical investigations

The synthesis of ferrocenyloxysilanes Si(OFc)nR4-n (R = Me, n = 1-4; Ph, n = 2), 1,3-dioxa-sila-[3] ferrocenophane and a mono-cationic cyclopentadienone compound is discussed. The electrochemical behavior of these species is reported.185
