Ferrocenyl thiocarboxylates: Synthesis, solid-state structure and electrochemical investigations

Straightforward synthetic methodologies for the preparation of S-ferrocenyl heterocyclic carbothiolates are discussed. The molecular solid state structures of two compounds are reported, confirming oxygen-oxygen interactions. Electrochemical investigations indicate show reversible electrochemical processes.169
