Synthesis, structure, DNA/protein binding, and cytotoxic activity of a rhodium(III) complex with 2,6-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)pyridine

[Rh(bzimpy)Cl3] (bzimpy = 2,6-bis(2-benzimidazolyl)pyridine) was synthesized and characterized. Its interaction with DNA and BSA was investigated. The in vitro cytotoxicity properties of the complex against MCF-7, K562, and HT-29 were also evaluated.436
