Isolation of eudesmanes from Pluchea odorata and evaluation of their effects on cancer cell growth and tumor invasiveness in vitro

Fifteen eudesmane-type sesquiterpens and two phytol-like compounds, including 8 previously undescribed compounds, were isolated from Pluchea odorata. Several of them showed cytotoxic activity on HL-60 cells and anti-invasive effects.192
