Triterpenoid saponins with anti-inflammatory activities from Ilex pubescens roots

Seven triterpenoid saponins were isolated from roots of Ilex pubescens together with 12 known ones. Some of the isolated triterpenoid saponins showed potent anti-inflammatory effects.156
