Structures and biological activities of triterpenes and sesquiterpenes obtained from Russula lepida

A seco-cucurbitane triterpene (1) and two aristolane sesquiterpenes (2 and 3) were isolated from Russula lepida together with two known terpenes. The triterpenes inhibited protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B) activity.
