Sesquiterpene lactones from the aerial parts of Vernonia blumeoides growing in Nigeria

Four eudesmanolide sesquiterpene lactones were isolated from the aerial parts of Vernonia blumeoides. The absolute configuration of blumeoidolide-A was assigned by X-ray crystallography.80
