Penarines A-F, (nor-)sesquiterpene carboxylic acids from Hygrophorus penarius (Basidiomycetes)

Six ventricosane-type (nor)-sesquiterpene carboxylic acids were isolated from fruiting bodies of Hygrophorus penarius. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analyses as well as HR-MS studies.174
