Jatrophidin I, a cyclic peptide from Brazilian Jatropha curcas L.: Isolation, characterization, conformational studies and biological activity

Jatrophidin I was isolated from the latex of Jatropha curcas L. Studies of molecular dynamic simulations based on 2D NMR data showed the behavior of the peptide in solution. Also, the cyclic peptide inhibited pepsin activity in a micromolar range.
