Dimeric guaianolides from Artemisia absinthium

Five dimeric guaianolides, denoted absinthins A-E, and seven known dimeric guaianolides were isolated from the aerial parts of Artemisia absinthium. Two of these compounds exhibited significant inhibitory activities on LPS-induced NO production in BV-2 cells.
