Solanidane and iminosolanidane alkaloids from Solanum campaniforme

From the leaves of Solanum campaniforme (Solanaceae), eight solanidane alkaloids were isolated, four of which contained a p-hydroxyphenylethylamine unit. The alkaloids showed antiophidic activity.
