A chemotaxonomic study of endemic species of genus Tanacetum from the Canary Islands

Three sesquiterpenes and six sesquiterpene lactones were isolated from three endemic Canarian plants of Tanacetum genus. This distribution of sesquiterpenoids could be used as chemotaxonomy markers.
