Clausenawallines G-K, carbazole alkaloids from Clausena wallichii twigs

► The alkaloids of Clausena wallichii twigs were investigated. ► Chromatographic isolation led to the discovery of 17 alkaloids and five of them were previously unknown carbazole alkaloids. ► The five carbazole alkaloids had weak antibacterial activity.
