Benzoxazinoids from Scoparia dulcis (sweet broomweed) with antiproliferative activity against the DU-145 human prostate cancer cell line

► Twelve compounds were identified from the aqueous extract of Scoparia dulcis. ► Six benzoxazinoids from this source were also assayed for antiproliferative activity against the DU-145 cell line. ► One demonstrated a remarkable IC50 of 65.8 μg/mL.
