Linderolides A-F, eudesmane-type sesquiterpene lactones and linderoline, a germacrane-type sesquiterpene from the roots of Lindera strychnifolia and their inhibitory activity on NO production in RAW 264.7 cells in vitro

► From Lindera strychnifolia, six eudesmanes and one germacrane were isolated. ► Their structures were elucidated using NMR spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. ► Inhibitory activity on nitric oxide production of isolated compounds was assayed.
