Secondary metabolites from Spirotropis longifolia (DC) Baill and their antifungal activity against human pathogenic fungi

► A phytochemical investigation of Spirotropis longifolia has been carried out. ► Three previously unreported and ten known compounds have been isolated. ► Chemotaxonomic information for the Leguminosae family is provided. ► Some compounds could inspire the discovery of new antifungal agents.
