Phosphorylation-mediated regulation of a rice ABA responsive element binding factor

OREB1, a rice ABRE binding factor, contains multiple phosphorylation modules and phosphorylated by diverse Ser/Thr kinases. Mutational analysis established that the phosphorylation modules of OREB1 are not functionally redundant and differentially regulate transactivation activity.
