Unusual glycosides of pyrrole alkaloid and 4′-hydroxyphenylethanamide from leaves of Moringa oleifera

► An unusual glycoside of pyrrole alkaloid with a benzyl moiety was isolated from leaves of Moringa oleifera. ► 4′-Hydroxyphenylethanamide glycosides were isolated from M. oleifera. ► The use of M. oleifera as daily food supplement should be considered.
