Secondary metabolites from the leaves of Neolitsea hiiranensis and the anti-inflammatory activity of some of them

► Terpenoids 1-8 were isolated from the leaves of N. hiiranensis. ► Aromadendrane type sesquiterpenes were first obtained from the Neolitsea genus. ► Hiiranlactone B and hiiranlactone D exhibited anti-inflammatory activity.
