Quinolone alkaloids from Waltheria douradinha

Investigation of Waltheria douradinha (Sterculiaceae) afforded quinolone alkaloids, waltherione B (1) and vanessine (2), whose structures were determined; compound 2 had weak antimicrobial activity.
