Polar secondary metabolites of Ferula persica roots

Phytochemical investigation of the methanolic extract of the dried roots of Ferula persica resulted in four sesquiterpene coumarin glycosides, persicaosides A-D, and two known phytosterol glucosides, sitosterol 3-O-β-glucoside and stigmasterol 3-O-β-glucoside.
