Saponins from the seeds of Mimusops laurifolia

Three bidesmosidic 16α-hydroxyprotobassic acid saponins were isolated from the seeds of Mimusops laurifolia along with six known saponins, butyroside C, arganine D, Mi-saponin A, tieghemelin A, arganine A and arganine C. The structures were established by spectroscopic methods..
