Two flavonoid glycosides and a miscellaneous flavan from the bark of Guibourtia coleosperma

Three metabolites 7-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-epicatechin, epicatechin-(4β → 8)-7-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-epicatechin and epicatechin-(7,8-bc)-9β-(3-methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-dihydro-2(3H)-pyranone were isolated as their acetate and methyl ether acetate derivatives from the bark of Guibourtia coleosperma. Their structures have been established by spectroscopic methods.
