C-methylated flavonoids from Pisonia grandis roots

- Five new C-methylated flavonoids were isolated from the roots of Pisonia grandis.
- Almost all of the flavonoids from Pisonia plant possess an OH-2′ group.
- Antimicrobial and antioxidant activities of the isolates are reported.
