A new tropane alkaloid and other constituents of Erythroxylum rimosum (Erythroxylaceae)

► A new tropane alkaloid was isolated from Erythroxylum rimosum (Erythroxylaceae). ► Known Erythroxylum flavonoids were also isolated from this species. ► 7β-acetoxy-3β,6β-dibenzoyloxytropane exhibited inhibition of acetyl and butyilcholinesterase.
