New water soluble flavone and xanthone glycosides from Hypericum canariense L.

Five new water soluble quercetin 3-glucopyranuronates identified in the form of their polyacetates of type A and three new water soluble analogs of the xanthone mangiferin as well as mangiferin itself, all four of the latter also identified in the form of their polyacetates, were isolated from Hypericum canariense L.
