Secondary metabolites from Calotropis procera (Aiton)

Searching for bioactive compounds from Calotropis procera grown in Egypt resulted in three new metabolites along with two known compounds. The cytotoxic effects on the human carcinoma cell line HepG2 and HT-29 cells were evaluated.
