Four new lanostane-type triterpenoids from Inonotus obliquus

► New triterpenoids, 1-4 were isolated from the sclerotia of Inonotus obliquus. ► Structures of 1-4 were established by 2D NMR spectra and EIMS. ► 1 exhibited cytotoxic activity against all four cancer cell lines.
