Difuranonaphthoquinones from Plumbago zeylanica roots

The roots of Plumbago zeylanica L. have been credited with potential therapeutic properties in Ayurvedic and Unani system of medicines. In present communication, isolation and structure elucidation of three novel difuranonaphthoquinones (3-5) has been described.
