Preparation and thermal properties of soluble polysilsesquioxanes containing hydrophobic side-chain groups and their hybridization with organic polymers

A series of soluble polysilsesquioxanes containing hydrophobic side-chain groups (phenyl, cyclohexyl, hexyl, and undecyl) were prepared. In addition, the hybrids of two organic polymers, poly(methyl methacrylate) and polystyrene, with the resulting hydrophobic PSQs were prepared.242
