In order to propose rubber reference materials for weathering evaluation, 10 examples of typical compounds using four kinds of rubber (SBR, EPDM, CR, NR) were tested. In our evaluation, very long term natural exposure tests were carried out at five locations in the world. Artificial exposure tests were carried out simultaneously and a comparison study was made. From these evaluations, four kinds of typical compound are proposed as the rubber reference materials.
