Silver-catalyzed direct regioselective phosphonation of β-aryl-α, β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with H-phosphites under microwave irradiation

An efficient protocol for silver-catalyzed direct radical phosphonation of β-aryl-α,β-unsaturated carbonyl compounds with H-phosphites to afford trans-substituted alkenylphosphonates under microwave irradiation is described.
