Piscidinols H-L, apotirucallane triterpenes from the leaves of Walsura trifoliata and their insecticidal activity

Five new apotirucallane-type triterpenoids (1-5) together with five known compounds (6-10) were isolated from the leaves of Walsura trifoliata. All the new compounds were tested for their antifeedant activities in tobacco caterpillar (Spodoptera litura) and castor semilooper (Achaea janata) using a no-choice laboratory bioassay.
