Densely functionalized 1,2-dihydrobenzo[b][1,6]naphthyridines: one-pot synthesis via sequential Ugi and Heck reactions

A facile one-pot synthesis of functionalized 1,2-dihydrobenzo[b][1,6]naphthyridines is described via sequential Ugi four components using 2-chloroquinoline-3-carboxaldehydes, allyl amine, acetic acid, isocyanides and ligand free Heck reactions in good yields.
